Law CPD Requirements - Legal Executives

The systematic maintenance, improvement and extension of the professional and legal skills, and personal qualities, necessary for the execution of professional and legal duties, and compliance with the standards required by the Institute throughout the Legal Executive's working life.

CPD is compulsory for all Fellows of the Institute of Legal Executives. CPD takes place on an annual basis and the CPD year runs from 1 January 31 December. During this time a Fellow is required to complete a minimum of 16 hours CPD and a Member is required to complete a minimum of 8 hours CPD.
