CPD Requirements

CPD Reqirements

As a qualified member you are required to undertake CPD that is relevant and appropriate to your professional responsibilities and personal development.

In order to count towards CPD, the training or development activity undertaken must be:

Relevant

As a professional working (or on a career break) in industry, practice or other environment, you should identify what you require to carry out your current role effectively, as well as any identified future role. Courses are relevant where they contribute towards meeting your individual skills requirements. Please remember that CPD is not restricted to technical advancement but should also embrace personal development (management skills).

Our courses are developed in response to your feedback and requests as well as developments in the accountancy world.

Measurable

Depending on the requirements of your Professional Body, you may be required to demonstrate that the learning undertaken meets either input (units or hours) or output (learning outcomes) based criteria.

Our course outlines give details of course duration and learning outcomes to assist your planning.

Verifiable

Where regulated by your professional body, you must be able to demonstrate that you have undertaken the learning.

We maintain records of courses attended and provide certificates of attendance automatically at the year end (or on request at other times).
